Steps to Check Your Result:
- Visit the CSBC website: Go to csbc.bihar.gov.in
- Find Your Result: Click on the link “Click Here To Download Constable Result (Advt. No. 01/2023)”
- Search Your Roll Number: Open the PDF file and search for your roll number using Ctrl + F or the search option on your mobile device
The written examination for Bihar Police Constable was held on August 7, 11, 18, 21, 25, and 28, 2024. A total of 21,391 vacancies were available, and 9,63,563 candidates appeared for the exam.
Category-Wise Selection:
- Non-Reserved Category: 42,780 candidates selected
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 10,700 candidates selected
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 17,000 candidates selected
- Scheduled Tribes (ST): 1,140 candidates selected
- Extremely Backward Class (EBC): 19,210 candidates selected
- Backward Classes (BC): 12,850 candidates selected
- Women of Backward Classes (WBC): 3,275 candidates selected
Candidates who passed the written exam will now have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The dates and details for PET will be announced on the CSBC website soon.
Application Fee
- General, OBC, EWS, Other State : Rs. 675/-
- SC / ST : Rs. 180/-
- Candidates have to pay their Examination Fee Through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI and Other Fee Payment Mode Only
Age Limit
- As on 01 August 2022
- Minimum Age : 18 Years
- Maximum Age : 25 Years
- Age Relaxation as per Bihar Police Recruitment Rules.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates who have passed their Class 10+2 (Intermediate) Examination from Any Recognized Board in India will be eligible for this recruitment.
